Modern Technology. Personalized Care.

At Shine Family Dentistry, we use the latest dental technology to deliver precise, efficient and comfortable care tailored to your needs. From same-day crowns to advanced digital imaging, our modern tools help us provide the highest level of care with a personal touch—so every visit is smooth, stress-free and focused on your smile.

A dentist wearing gloves is showing a dental X-ray to a patient. The X-ray is displayed on a monitor, and it shows a clear image of the patient's teeth and jaw. The patient is seated and looking at the screen, while the dentist points to the X-ray.

Digital X-Rays

Digital X-rays provide high-resolution images with significantly less radiation exposure compared to traditional X-rays. These images help us accurately diagnose dental issues and plan effective treatments quickly.

Intraoral Camera

Intraoral cameras allow us to capture detailed images of your teeth and gums, providing a close-up view that enhances our diagnostic capabilities. This technology also helps you better understand your oral health by allowing you to see what we see during your exam.

Digital Scanner

Digital scanners enable us to create highly accurate 3D digital models of your teeth and gums, enhancing our diagnostic precision and treatment planning. This advanced technology also improves your experience by eliminating messy impressions and helping you visualize your oral health more clearly during your visit.

Computer-Assisted Local Anesthesia

Computer-assisted local anesthesia technology allows us to deliver numbing treatment with unmatched precision and comfort. By using a digitally controlled system, we can administer local anesthesia at a consistent, gentle pace—minimizing pressure, stinging and discomfort often associated with traditional injections. The result is a more relaxed, virtually pain-free experience that helps patients feel at ease before and during their dental procedures.

Glidewell Mill

Glidewell mill technology allows us to design, craft and place custom dental restorations—such as crowns and onlays—all in a single appointment. Using advanced digital impressions and our in-office Glidewell milling unit, we can produce precise, natural-looking restorations without the wait or need for temporary crowns. This streamlined process is fast, comfortable and built around the unique shape and shade of your smile.

Soft-Tissue Laser

A soft-tissue laser is a gentle, minimally invasive dental tool designed to perform precise gum contouring, periodontal therapy and other soft-tissue procedures with exceptional accuracy. By using concentrated light energy instead of traditional surgical instruments, it minimizes bleeding, reduces the need for stitches and promotes faster healing.
